In the decades following its issue, possibly to the region of the middle and lower Ganges Valley which was under the rule of the kings of Magadha. The countermark was probably applied in the first half of the 4th century BC. The other countermark is of uncertain origin but may have been applied in Upper Egypt. History and restoration of the former Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fe depot in Eagle Lake, Texas. Also included is a brief history of the predecssor Cane Belt Railroad.
Murder of William Dunovant in November 1904, pled self-defense, and was acquitted. The case against W. E. Calhoun for the attempted murder of Eldridge was later dismissed. There is an interesting footnote not directly related to the Cane Belt. Once again it involved a shooting, William T. Eldridge, and occurred on the San Antonio Aransas Pass passenger train 2. The Cochecton Preservation Society is having another fundraiser in their efforts to save the Erie Cochecton station, considered to be the oldest surviving station in NY State. They have compiled a CD of railroad songs. I have a copy. It well-done, professional, and nicely packaged. They are selling fast, so consider picking up a copy today. Carbon. Again no signs of water damage but maybe some bad fuel had been used last time it ran. I cleaned out the front of the bore with a scraper, screw driver,etc and got it pretty clean. There was some very slight surface rust above the ring line but the bore of what I could see was basically sound. The piston may have a sticky ring or two so a good bash with a piece of solid redgum and by my reckoning it should free up. No Way!!! There is a limit with bashing an alloy piston and I reached
